Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, location, service branch, military service dates, noise exposure, hearing symptoms, whether you have consulted a GP, prior claims, and your communications with us. Hearing-related information is health data and receives additional legal protection. We may also collect website usage information, IP address, device details, cookie preferences and consent records where relevant.
Why and on what basis
We use enquiry details to respond, assess basic referral suitability, prevent duplicate submissions, maintain records, protect our systems and, only where appropriate, introduce you to a solicitor. The applicable UK GDPR Article 6 lawful basis for each activity must be recorded in our processing register before launch. Where we process health information, we must also establish an Article 9 condition; where explicit consent is relied upon, we will seek a clear, separate express statement and retain proof. Consent can be withdrawn, although withdrawal does not automatically invalidate earlier lawful processing. Marketing is optional and requires a separately assessed lawful basis and PECR compliance.
Sharing
We will share relevant enquiry and health details only with the specifically identified solicitor(s) or other recipients disclosed to you at the point of collection and only where legally permitted. We may use contracted service providers such as secure hosting, CRM and communications providers under appropriate agreements. We will not sell or circulate your details to undisclosed firms.
